Poster Analysis

Below are a couple of examples in "The Final Destination" and "Drag Me To Hell" where these posters follow the general conventions in horror moveis where a large image is used and ultiamtely focused on whereas the amount of text is fairly small and include no external source reviews such as Empire or various newspapers. The text is usually just the title or a mention of the actors/producers/distrubtuion in very small font usually placed at the bottom of the poster where their not prioritised and seem of little significance.

In both of the above posters very little text is used especially in the Final Destiantion poster where the date "August", the title and a short but snappy attraction line are the only pieces of textual references actually used.

This is the same for Drag me to Hell where the same sort of textual reference is used except for the credits at the base of the poster is used whereas this is not in The Final Destination poster.
